Her hair cascaded over her shoulders. Ira simply stood there, watching him in stunned silence, unable to form a single word. Atharv held her gaze for a moment before quietly saying, “Remember what I said.” Then he turned and walked away. Ira didn't move. She simply watched him disappear, her mind replaying every word and every little gesture from moments ago. Just then, Julie walked into the kitchen and caught her staring after him.
